Questions parents ask
Is Kidventures a free alternative to Greenlight?
For chores and rewards, yes: the Kidventures Free plan covers up to 2 kids and 2 grown-ups with no time limit. It has no card and moves no money, so it does not replace the banking side of Greenlight.
Can I use Kidventures and Greenlight together?
Yes. Some families use stars for daily routines and a card for real allowance. The 2 apps are not connected: you move money in Greenlight yourself.
Does Kidventures pay real money?
No. Kids earn stars and spend them on rewards you choose together, like a park trip or an extra story. For real pocket money, our pocket money by age guide lists amounts from published guidelines.
Which one works for a 4-year-old?
Kidventures is built for ages 2 to 12, with picture quests a grown-up does with the child. Greenlight sets no minimum age for its card, and its tools are about spending and saving real money.
